I tried for the first couple of years and now I'm in the same boat as you. If they ask me about it, I explain as best I can and leave it at that. As soon as they start arguing, I suggest they read a book. Most people don't read, so that's where it ends 🤣

I just say, "it's getting more valuable as a technology and is a great investment". Rest is up to them
