Back in April, I shared a petition to lower fuel prices in Portugal. Today, Facebook slapped me with a block until September 2nd because of it.

Honestly, it makes me want to delete all my accounts and give up on Meta entirely. But the hard reality is that all my clients are still on Facebook.

For those of you who have made the jump to decentralized platforms, how do you handle this? How do I transition my business away from these systems without losing my clients?

Yeah — Meta bans the messenger while the clients stay glued to the feed; that's the real lock-in. Most people who jumped kept a thin FB page as a signpost (hours, booking link, "message me on email/Nostr") and moved the actual relationship off-platform one client at a time instead of cold turkey.
