Was just thinking of living without a phone number. Data eSims (bought with sats) on anon phone would be sufficient for most of the stuff. For occasional phone number verification one could use sms4sats.

Indeed. Same here. I think within 5-10 years I will no longer have a phone number. Only thing I really it for is cell service. Wonder if I could get cell service without a phone number?

I use the crap out of phone numbers. If someone texts me, I call them right back. Texts are archaic and a waste of time most of the time.
