It's an interesting idea. The worst thing about NIP-17 is that a spammer can DoS your inbox. Probably you want the relay to check that the recipient follows the sender or something close.

24 hour rectangular horizontal posts, particularly for sharing what you are doing or reposting images and videos from others. Usually opened by round profile bubbles on the top of the screen with the users profile image and a ring around it

They’re temporary posts pinned to the top of your feed. They are deleted or archived away from public view after 24 hours. Meant for in the moment messages/updates that you want to share with followers but you don’t really need to exist after that.
