True. I don't have a solution either.

My first shot would be, radical freedom of choice and exclusion where necessary. But that doesn't work in Bitcoin space right now, because "Bitcoin is everybody", even for its enemies. But we could counter that, if we built a radical circular economy with things that are hard to get. Like raw milk in certain areas, or unpoluted food. So that it pays out to spend now rather than hodl it for indefinite times.

On Nostr it's much easier among the devs. Because with devs we have a free market here. Hundreds of clients, some are bad (linking you to big tech), some are not. So the user can make a conscious choice.

But also in Bitcoin. Core and Knots are not enough. Especially with Knots we can't tie it to one person, no matter how good he is. We need more alternatives in implementation, way more.

even worse than the node client centralization I think is the miner centralization, since they are the ones who just rejected the soft fork unilaterally. If you can print money to control corporations which can collude under bribes and coercion to control Bitcoin, then you don't really have anything...
