I just watched the latest convo between @Danny Knowles and @Dr. Jeff . I’m not poking fun but Jeff says multiple times, with Danny hinting at it too “I’m a staunch capitalist and free market believer but…” then they both say something has to be done that’s “communist” or “socialist”.
I read this like them saying “Look my religion will always be Capitalism but obviously things are not working out for Capitalism right now and it has created really bad times. I love Capitalism but we may need some socialism and communism to you know, give back some to those we stole from. That way we avoid an all out revolution and can continue kicking the can down the road because muh free markets and muh capitalism.”
I would love to discuss these things with them. Maybe I can learn something…maybe we would all learn something. Either way statements like what Jeff said is so bizarre. #bitcoin #nostr #philosophy #capitalism
