This is one of those things that wasn't obvious in 2020 and had to be learned -- when we see the 1-in-x numbers from canada covid hazard index they systematically overstate the risk *IF YOU ARE NOT NEEDING TO VISIT THE HOSPITAL*

which, by the way, is not something you can usually easily control

It means covid continues to BE a problem but one that is easy to sweep under the carpet...until it isn't.

This suggests that groups of size 482-1000 might be OK in saskatchewan right now (with n95 masks) (ie this would include even larger events).

but that IN THE HOSPITAL your risk is higher and that is going to continue to cost us.
