When I signed the order for my (first) EV on Saturday, I had a short talk with the vendor why I ordered two physical keys and why I'm not interested in unlocking the car remotely. Told him I'm a software developer with a personal interest in security, which doesn't help with trusting this stuff.

For some reason, a network interface on the public charging infra (that I'll depend on) wasn't yet on my radar though 😬
