You might also see a mention in this keynote, as you/Dokuwiki were the reason to go to my first (and so far only) @nprofile1q... back in 2008, which is also where we met in real life for the first time ^^

(I should add, the reason it was so far the only wasn't that I didn't enjoy the event, but just that life happened and the stars so far didn't align again - it's kinda amazing that they align due to me going to hold a keynote there almost 20 years later 😂)

@nprofile1q... They think you owe them something. Berating you about that is just their right and not rude in their eyes, and when you then don't jump for them that's rude on your side.

At least that's my personal theory, as I usually see entitlement as the cause of rude posts and doubling down when I call out the behaviour.

Plenty of people mistake using open source software as "being a customer". Add to that this "the customer is always right" nonsense and you get rudeness.

@nprofile1q... I think I'm going to do the same during my upcoming summer vacation and over the holidays.

Not a horrible amount here so far, especially not compared to you, but managing expectations is always a good idea, and also clarifying the whole situation, even on smaller projects.

@nprofile1q... hey, da ich mich aktuell mal wieder viel mit meiner Screenzeit beschäftige, wollte ich das auch mal ausprobieren - hast du evtl ein paar Tipps, wie du das eingestellt hast, so dass es für dich gut funktioniert? Also, was macht der Tag beim Scan (temporär frei schalten? Wie lange?)? Welche Apps hast du geblockt und nutzt du evtl auch die Zeit- oder Aufruflimits?

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... ist halt auch eine Odyssee, wenn man etwas erwartet, dass es nur direkt beim Hersteller gibt, der es aber leider per GLS verschickt, und man DEN dann laufend dazu anpingen muss.
