I’ve been interacting with AI on a bit more personal basis recently in terms of identity and tensions I experience navigating life, work, etc. a sounding board as I constantly run into the challenge of being hyper aware (and having an overactive mind) and dealing with my normal day to day life.
Here are some interesting things it said back to me
“The upside is that these traits can make someone insightful and effective.
The downside is that they can create a chronic feeling of alienation.
Not because you’re smarter than everyone else, but because you’re operating from a different set of assumptions.”
“The frustration I hear is less “people don’t appreciate me” and more:
“Why do so many people seem content to live on autopilot when existence itself is so strange and important?”
That’s a question a lot of thoughtful people end up carrying around for much of their lives.”
It’s been an interesting sounding board recently.
