Can someone explain to me why it's a good idea to broadcast to the entire world that Bitcoin projects are vulnerable?
I think the effort is worthwhile. Why can't it just be done quietly and announced...
In my opinion, this is good for the image of Bitcoin.
EVERYTHING is vulnerable, the difference is that Bitcoiners are working to identify then patch our code.
I juts hope they do proper disclosure to allow for updates to roll out before announcing the vuln.
