I think it already is in many ways.
It nailed the identity/trust and the commerce/services part. Just needs to add a couple small things to make the social/messaging a bit more robust.
Maybe it is more productive to convince Jack to make it more open protocols friendly. Would be awesome if he gave all users an MNS names whether they want it or not. I also wish he creates a Bitcoin backed stablecoin that is pegged to a basket of currencies or PoW or the price of Bitcoin in electricity around the world etc... and make that on Rootstock + statechains or other scaling solution.
