UBI could only possibly work in a high trust, ethnically homogeneous nationalist state with massive natural wealth, like oil. Ship has sailed for most the West. We have welfare and entitlements that act as a democtatic UBI matrix. It's already here and it's already a broken POS that harms the US more than it helps.
