When I married my husband I got an almost 13 year old niece... she wasn't allowed to date until she was 16, but I remember being 13, and we were way more mature. I do think it's a good idea to wait before having an actual relationship since they can't get married until they're 18 (or 17 with parental permission I thinkš¤) and waiting to have sex until marriage is a really good idea, so if they find their mate at 14, that's up to 4 years of waiting with all those hormones.
