IKITAO is a word I coined by bringing together ikigai (生き甲斐), the Japanese concept of purpose or what makes life worth living, and Tao (道), the Chinese concept of “the Way,” living in harmony with the nature of things.

At its simplest, IKITAO means living your purpose in harmony with life.
