Like clockwork! I really don't see why people buy cat toys. I guess some cats like them? Moxie, on the other hand, couldn't care less. Throw a hair tie and she'll play fetch with you. Give her a box and she's in heaven!

Definitely promising, especially for energy density! It'll be interesting to see how the technology develops. I'm sure BLUETTI will find some great ways to incorporate it into their products as it matures.

Definitely a valid concern! The BLUETTI Elite 300 uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries, which are much less susceptible to thermal runaway. It also has a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) with protections against overheating, overcharging, and electrical faults.

BLUETTI makes quality equipment. You can even use the Elite 300 as a UPS.

The operating temperature tops out at 104°F, so that's something to be mindful of. Plenty of van dwellers use these systems in places like Arizona, but managing the interior temperature is important.

I'm also looking into a portable air conditioner/heater for climate control, especially when I need to shower or run errands and Moxie can't come with me.

Just need to sort out the space and figure out where to run the ventilation hoses.

Keeping her safe and comfortable is a top priority. I want to be able to monitor the temperature remotely and have live video of her and the car from my phone at all times.

Nothing is completely risk-free, of course, but these systems are designed for portable, off-grid living. :)

I'm also looking at the Starlink Mini, and I'm pretty excited to see what Starlink Mobile has in store.

There are certainly smaller, more portable power stations out there, but the BLUETTI Elite 300 has over 3,000Wh of capacity, which is pretty incredible for its size. It's perfect for my car setup. And the fridge has already been a game changer!

Pretty stoked to get the DC-to-DC alternator charger hooked up through the car's firewall. That'll give me up to 560W of charging while driving. I'm also planning on putting 450–500W of solar on the roof. Between the two, I should be pretty self-sufficient when it comes to power.

And yeah, it's a bit of a change in subject matter, but it's all part of the same journey. It's all about freedom, purpose, contribution, and self-sovereignty. :)
