Then there are the LibriVox "Insomnia Collections", readings deliberately selected to be as boring as possible. Can't beat a pamphlet on Copyright Law, or a dissertation on Yeast, or the history of Umbrellas, for putting one to sleep! (I was an occasional contributor, droning my way through the Rules of the Road at Sea in Collection #4).
