the worst thing about Bluesky is the Will Stancil discourse. he clearly gets off on being a lolcow and arguing with people, everyone involved has untreated mental illness, and i just don't want to hear about him or anyone with opinions about his opinions ever again.

unfortunately, this kind of thing is a major driver of engagement on Bluesky. very few people are actually posting original thoughts. instead, they wait for some minor influencer or someone having manic episodes to post their thoughts, and then argue about them in quote-posts nested 3-7 deep for 24h...
