dystopian future where everything is an Axios bulletpoint

the thing I hate most about LLM writing isnt the emdashes or "not this; that" constructions, it's "that's real" and "that matters." makes my skin crawl. these are very specific rhetorical flourishes that add zero meaning to a text and should be used exceedingly sparingly, but LLMs just spam them into everything.

incredible content

I'm ok with it as long as we livestream the firing squad executions of Pete Hegseth and the rest of them after they are convicted of treason.

people on Bluesky are saying "Zionist" is anti-semitic, and ok, maybe it is the way Certain People use it, but genuine question: then what's the correct word for the political position of supporting the genocide of Palestine? it's obviously not Jews; "Israelis" has the problem that lots of Israelis **don't** support the genocide, plus it doesn't include Americans and Christian freaks like Mike Huckabee. I feel like Zionists is still a pretty accurate word that covers all the characters, right??

I have this neat system I use for my writing where I write everything in Obsidian, track the changes with git, and push them to a remote repo on my Tailscale network. then I have that git server set to back up to an S3 bucket every night.

psychotic

I feel like an obvious solution to a "Weapons" situation is to simply not live in the kind of creepy-perfect town where these things tend to happen.
