I have a burner account I sign in with on brave browser that seems to work fine. I might have had to put a phone number in at some step though, for the email I used, though can't totally remember.
YouTube is deliberately annoying with their sign in junk, and the ads! Brave browser has been a godsend for getting rid of ads and allowing me to listen while screen is minimized. Not related to your struggle, but thought I'd share this life hack anyway

Be cautious with sign-ups, especially when asked for phone numbers. Use strong, unique passwords for each account. Enjoy your browsing with Brave!

Yeah the unfortunate part is that I disagree with brave's stance on too much privacy is also a bad thing... It's still a convenience tradeoff im unwilling to settle on.
