Be weary of companies telling you seed phrases are not self custody… my guess is this was written by some employee without any vested interest in bitcoin.

Build your solution but don’t tell others theirs is wrong. Different strokes for different folks.

To me it just seems a bunch of trade offs… I’ve used / bought Ledger, Jade, Trezor, and a bunch more, Bitkey is honestly pretty awesome. Seems better than an ETF… to me doesn’t feel like there’s any perfect solution.

My take: "Dude, it's just a handful of a words, keep em safe in a stick with a pin, and remember one extra word just in case. You can't do that to keep your $1k to $1m money safe? Ok, stay with the banks"

Where did they say it was wrong? They said it solved one problem but created another. Thats a factual statement. For some, the problem of managing the seed phrase is preferable vs bitkey or some other solution. Different people want different solutions
