Speaking of which, it makes me kinda sad that systemd hasn't been forked and ported to other operating systems.
I mean, I use its features all the time, and I'm kinda not super comfortable with it being controlled by literally IBM.
People have pulled parts out of it and forked them, but not the whole thing.
Something similar would also be ok, but that means stuff like per-service queryable logs and simple service configuration files, which nobody else seems to care about.
