If Bitcoin is money, why do so few bitcoiners use it like money?

My local meetup has splintered off into a guerilla campaign of getting local Square merchants to turn on Bitcoin. We've onboarded merchants that sell coffee, ice cream, tacos, rolfing, etc...God willing, we will get beer on the menu.

And the local bitcoiners mostly can't be arsed to spend with them! What gives?!

Also I have NO IDEA what rolfing is. But you can spend bitcoin on it.
