@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... I'd say that was very much a subjective thing. I've watched them all more than once and read all of the books, and loved both experiences. No issues separating the two, which do vary. Sometimes a lot.

I always viewed it as being able to pick the element you liked best. Like in the books, Ashford is basically an unlikable one-dimensional character. In the tv show he get way more time and development, and a great actor, and is a beloved character.
