Farm fresh on the left as I got it, and after cleanup and long-overdue maintenance on the right. The after photo doesn't include the new spring and mounting pieces that I fabricated.

Happily, as you can see the thread were still in good condition, without excessive wear or degradation. And with a bit of sweat equity, everything cleaned up nicely.

#CAturday is an oooooold photo of our old cat "Creepy" who decided that she wanted to get online with me and see what was so damn interesting to me.

Creepy was my favorite cat ever. I was trying to find some other old photos when I stumbled across this one.

It's funny how dated all the hardware is from over 20 years ago, although I still have the Yaesu VX-5R stored away and it works fine to this day.

Originally completed in 1869 as the the first railroad bridge built over navigable waters West of the Missouri River, it was replaced with this version in 1942.
