I've never been convinced and use username, randomly generated password (most complex allowed), and the best 2FA option provided (OTP or hardware key if available - email if I must). SMS 2FA should just die.

I believe most normies find passkeys easier. And I'm not even one who thinks no one should use them ever. But I remain unconvinced for myself.

This article was intentionally emotionally misleading. It's public key crypto, most of us are here because we agree it's a pretty robust form of authentication.
