⚡️🇷🇺 NEW - Russia has officially accused Pavel Durov of facilitating terrorist activities and issued an international arrest warrant.

According to Russian authorities, the founder of Telegram allegedly refused to remove content that was reportedly used by Ukrainian intelligence services as well as by terrorist and extremist organizations to plan acts of sabotage, terrorist attacks, and cyberfraud on Russian territory.

At this point, neither Pavel Durov nor Telegram has publicly responded to these new accusations. Reuters reports that Russia now intends to place Durov on an international wanted list, although the specifics of such a move remain unclear.

This case comes nearly two years after his arrest in France in August 2024, as part of a separate investigation into Telegram’s content moderation policies. He was subsequently released on probation before leaving France.
