Re: my last post...
It was a bit tongue-in-cheek. Those who know me know I'm not quite that melodramatic.
There was some truth to it, though.
I've spent years building communities online. I had tens of thousands of connections on Twitter before deleting my account in 2022. I came to Nostr and, once again, built relationships with thousands of people.
I've made genuine friendships here, and I'm grateful for them.
But it's also disheartening to invest years building a community only to watch so many people drift awayβnot because of something you said or did, but because they simply stopped using the protocol.
Time is finite.
As a business owner, and as a human being, I have to spend it wisely.
That means making my website and IKITAO my primary focus.
I'll still be here. I love Nostr. I'll just be spending less of my time here while building the foundation of my life's work.
I've said it before: your website is the foundation. Social media is a traffic source.
Meet people where they are.
But never build your house on someone else's land.
If you've enjoyed my work over the years and would like to stay connected, I'll be sharing more about the relaunch of my website and IKITAO in the coming weeks.
