Nostr is a great litmus test for bitcoiners

Right before I went full #Nostr Bitcoin twitter had turned into MSTR degens tracking the company’s rankings by market cap and other useless bullshit

None of the Bitcoiners I know personally take any time to educate themselves about Bitcoin. If they would do as little as just listen to one Bitcoin-only podcast once a week, they would most certainly discover Nostr. But they don't make it that far in their education.

I never got into Twitter and loathe other social media. I don't even remember how I heard of Nostr when I got my nsec 2 or 3 years back (was already a Bitcoiner). But I've learned so much from people here that my life would truely be unrecognizable had I never joined in on the protocol.

I think they'll come eventually. Nostr is the best. I'm a major introvert, but I love interacting on nostr. It's like a really big family.

Nostr is like a hidden cove right now tho, up until a few months ago it was pretty difficult to parse out wtf was going on (most from an information standpoint) The tech and idea behind it is easy for crypto native people to grasp imo

Honestly, I floated back because, whereas on X I had dialogs, here I only saw monologues. But X is devolving back to its former censoring Twitter, so I'm back again to give this another go.

Do nostr apps advertise anywhere? I heard about nostr on a few bitcoin podcasts. I feel like radio would a good advertising method for social media alternatives.
