Sam Bankman-Fried loses appeal of his fraud conviction and 25-year prison sentence.
A three-judge panel in Manhattan upheld the conviction, calling SBF the "main driver of one of the largest frauds on record" and describing the government's evidence against him as "robust."
The court rejected SBF's claims that his trial was "fundamentally unfair" and that the judge was biased against him.
This comes just days after SBF formally applied for a presidential pardon from Trump, telling Fox Business from his prison cell that he "absolutely" wants one. Trump said in January he has no intention of granting it.
25 years stands.
