Graphene is good, but alot of mainstream apps dont work, like banking apps etc. Hopefully over time more apps are introduced.
Google / apple unfortunately have set it up to make you cave eventually.
Give it a try, you can buy a second hand pixel phone for real cheap. Dont go older than pixel 7 otherwise pixel security updates will stop updating, whixh isnt good for security.
