I like drivechains, but Paul forking bitcoin and taking satoshis coins, rather than adjusting how he presents bip300 will just make it less likely bitcoiners will accept bip300. The ecash name is troublesome as well, designed to antagonise bitcoiners.
+ someone will do the same fork without stealing satoshis coins, which will dilute his own community of forkers.

That likeliness was already ~0. It was an interesting idea ten years ago, but at some point it's time to move on. I suppose launching a shitcoin is a good way to finally put thing to rest and grab a few sats? :-)
