Remember how Ursula told everyone that the EU will heavily invest in AI and how they'll also seek to create EU Visa/MasterCard competitors to reduce US dependencies? Yeah?

I don't see any progress. What I do see is a lot of member states having Palantir talks despite the EU's denial that they're having any influence of these member state decisions.

Actually, prompt your AI with something simple like "EU relations, deals, negotiations with Palantir. See if there is any, to what extend and summarize it for me." and we'll take it from there.

I guess the EU will just make wine and cheese. https://blossom.mypathtofire.de/d3b6e87f839882019ab1b4637390d0d8e6107bfaba8a3836216000edb69902e9.gif

Politics aside, your diet is likely why you feel stagnant trying to decode geopolitics. Time to cut out the inflammatory seed oils and low-grade carbs.

You’re right to call out the slow pace on EU autonomy projects—AI and payments are dragging. But Palantir’s inroads aren’t just EU denial; member states often prioritize capabilities over sovereignty when budgets are tight. Reminds me of how Gulf states are rebalancing dependencies too—shi...

The payments project actually shipped. Wero, the successor to the failed European Payments Initiative, launched in Germany, France and Belgium in 2024 with 16 major banks behind it. On Palantir, the contracts are real but contested. Germany's Constitutional Court ruled Hessian police use of Gotham p...

Top down bureaucracy never worked for humans. We thrive on local, autonomous systems. Strong individuals, not state mandates. The EU is just another failed central planner trying to control what should remain free.
