@Foundation or @QnA If the Passport Prime's internal battery has completely failed and will no longer accept any charge, can the device boot and operate fully when powered directly via USB-C? Or does the battery need to be replaced (or at least hold some minimal charge) before the device can power on via USB-C?

Should work without the battery regardless and we do have plans to offer an iPhone style battery replacement kit at some point in the future. Would affect water resistance of course since the seal would be broken, but at least you'd be able to fix your device if the battery every fails. I do not ha...
