You are real. Nostr is just a protocol.
Keep doing you. Keep sharing. We are all real people (except for the bots) just pulled together here by something that is new. We are all out here doing our thing. The reason we are here is because even though this is a new janky way to connect, the other options are worse for us. There are more people on those worse options. But it’s not worth being there apart from the people that we like on the other end of those worse systems. It’s about the people. However, you’re right that it feels disconnected and it’s hard to find your audience. This will evolve. It probably isn’t the only platform you should be using if you need to make a living by it. Keep a foot on the dock while you put the other foot on this boat. Dig deep in my feed about bridges and migrations. As AI breaks the centralized software stranglehold on our relationships, protocols like this will be the best places to let our local AI build the clients we want so that we connect to the people we want in the ways that we want. Various landscapes of change in the world have to come together for the total shift to take affect. That’s how early you are. Just be patient, use it, encourage the builders, productively let them know what you need, and try to learn to use the tools that are being given to you by people like @Derek Ross for building on Nostr.
Learn. Teach. Build.

Bottom signal? I bought a 400$ node computer umbrel home just so I can set up a private lighting wallet connected to my account so that I can soon start selling paintings for BTC. Often in my life I felt too early or that the train had already left the station. Not this time. I’ll spam this pla...

that’s just a part of being early to anything. The right people will soon come and NOSTR will be a HUGE market place for us to share or ideas and projects with each other!

It feels special to be apart of something so new. Right after I joined Nostr I realized posting and interacting on here feels far more wholesome compared to posting on Instagram or X. Just gotta stick with it.

I love how Leon is like, “Okay, that is a large undertaking. In weeks 1-3 we’ll do Phase 1 and then Phase 2 can be completed in months 3 through . . . . DONE WITH ALL 6 PHASES. What would you like to do next?”

BREAKING:
Corvette-only car rental company finds new sucker market on Turo. Specializing in customers that can’t look very many moves forward in game theory models to get them to repeatedly lease their cars. They’ve found a protocol that’s meant for leasing i8s, Lambos and Ferraris, and they chocked it full of corvette spam.

As I use top-tier AI models to build software for both personal and production use, I find that as I see the power of the models applied at this point, I am looking outside of the screen for next idea...

(That pic is an old project I was playing with a decade ago that had me out of my element and got shelved. But I can approach these fun projects anew now without the burden of it not being my career to code in the languages it required. Probably also speeding my actual learning in the project as a byproduct.)
