Everybody will take the second speed but is it possible? That's something that is bothering me, how many can achieve it? How can you create enough wealth in a fair world, where meritocracy is the base...

Not everybody, because it comes with a huge price tag in the form of opportunity cost. Will you retire at 55, or will you work until 70+ to give your kids a chance to reach the second stage? Is your time preference really that long? I'm coming to terms with the idea that I will have to work until I die, and that it is the only choice for me (due to various reasons I don't want to elaborate). I agree it is not easy to accept, because everyone would like to retire tomorrow... or even better, later today. :-)

Yes, I understand. I just think that the second speed is unachievable for 99.99% of people and so, set is as a goal is not going to give you the results you think. As you said, "I believe that I have responsibilities to the next generations", your biggest responsibility is to teach values to them an...
