This evil arrived on my phone, so I'm in need of a new OS. I was a OnePlus fanboy for years, but this is the end. I remember days when I was booting Android from the SD card on my HTC HD2 phone. It was fun back then, but I was glad I don't have to do that anymore. I guess I was wrong.

Once the e-fuse has been blown, the system will not allow the device to roll back to any older software version. This action is taken to prevent security vulnerabilities that could be exploited if the device reverts to an older operating system. Attempting to install an older software version on devices with ARB activated will result in complete hardware failure of the device. Since the e-fuse has been blown, traditional software recovery tools will no longer work. The only way to repair a device damaged by ARB is to replace the entire motherboard at official warranty centers.

Nothing against recognition of excellence, encouragement of young talents, and handing out awards, but #OpenSource is borderless from its core, and building a wall around it does not make sense. How do you even assess "the nominee’s connection to the European open source ecosystem?"

Yeah, it all happened during the Danish presidency of the EU Council... It was an "if you don't let us through the door, we will go through the window" sort of move. But at the end of the day, chat control de facto already passed and there will only be addendums and tweaks to it, not a completely new vote. The classical salami method, going for total control one slice at a time.
