Vanilla knots supporter here..not forking with bip-110, but, feeling some controllability over my own block template.

I like instant payouts and individual level mining here even with a pool. Unless I’m missing something, that’s truly it.

I don’t want control over censorship, I want to keep control from large pools hashing the same template build. More power to the individual is less majority ruling

That's what stratumv2 is for. No need to run a node implementation maintained by a single individual to achieve what you want there.

You can still set your datacarriersize in Core v30.2 and fetch block templates from it with your Datum instance. Of course it works w/ CLN, which you need for instant payouts. No need for Knots
