I’ve heard that for access control they’re thinking of doing a namespace system. Which would be effectively like folders.

So analogically your atproto repository is a drive. Public and private namespaces are folders in the drive. Lexicons are file extensions.

Well that was obvious thing to do from the beginning, and if they managed to do such a radical change at this stage, then they can do anything and good for them for having a team that leads and a community that actually open to follow instead of ossification too soon.
