Would it be better for the art to have a single individual authoritatively dictating every aspect of every film & show DC Studios produces? Do we LIKE studio meddling now?

The only way to have a perfectly consistent creative project is to shut down creativity & experimentation, never take a single risk, & never think about anything other than what the audience will like.

I don't want that. I've never wanted that. That sounds absolutely awful. Not that. Never that.

Secretly I love Alien3 (although oooh boy, we could talk about studio meddling) because it's not what anyone expected from another Alien movie. Is it flawed? Ohhhh yes, but would I be happier if they had just tried to copy Cameron's success from Aliens? Doubtful. Would have been "safer", for sure. ...
