I think he was separating the condescension from your argument as what he had issue with. Eg, when you say "guy," like that, and "if that's too complicated to read," it comes off rude, cuz it is. You assume, as I've seen may do, that because Mike is a jokey type on here, that he's not smart, but you're wrong. Math may not be his strong suit, but he's a sharp cookie generally, and guaranteed more knowledgable/smarter than you in many areas. Usually pretty generous with his time too.
