People are all up in arms over this Tucker-Putin interview.

I’m all for free journalism but I am also busy this week. For people who have seen it, is it worth spending two hours to watch it or does Tucker get cucked by Putin the whole time?

worth it, I listened two times, very educational

Putin has a clarity of perspective that, while obviously biased to reflect well on his own actions, enables him to describe the actions of all parties involved. Tucker encourages this throughout the interview. It is helpful if you are unfamiliar with the perspective of the Russian state. The more i...

it depends what is your goal. As a person who have been listening to Putin 20 years I'd say no. If your goal is to understand him learn facts and stories. not his words. there are lots of them - Chechnya war, Magnitsky, Nemtsov and so on.

Yes. Free speech is always worth. Whether you agree or not with the content. Apparently lady Clinton prefers censorship e propaganda ministries. #liberty #freedom #libertarian #mises #rothbard

You risk losing solid 20 IQ points by watching it, so be careful.

Yes but itll be nice to pay some student to watch and make 500 words essay about it where historical facts are check. I watched it it’s kinda hard to listen due putin is dubbed

skip the first 30 minutes, the rest is worth the watch

I watched 20 minutes. this "historical part" of the interview is such a shame. "Lenin created Ukraine." God, don't embarrass yourself by calling Putin sane ) I don't know, ask a historian you know who understands European history to comment on this part of the interview.

I believe it’s worth the 2 hours.

If you watch it, make sure you have your bullshit detector tuned properly.

would u like a "transcription, summary and cutting of the video based on your selection of areas" tool

There are timestamps on Tuckers Website. I think some parts are worth watching.

Certainly worth it. Many conclusions to draw from it not the least of which is we’ve been starved of this kind of journalism for far too long.

Extraordinary interview, not more than 10 min TC speaking, and he got all the essential and smart questions

I downloaded the audio and listen to it while driving.

my 2 takeaways: - the idea is not watching to check whether Putin is gaslighting the audience or not, you're watching to gauge to understand the vision of an important world leader and to understand how cognizant he is. - Putin seems to let the door open for a negociated peace. It's unclear if that'...

Skip past the first 30 minutes unless you’re genuinely interested in 1000 years of history of Russia. Other than that it’s definitely worth watching. I had to get in nostr because I noticed you weren’t tweeting and I wanted to make sure you were still alive ☺️

Putin is the worst human on the planet. Tucker seems to lack redeeming qualities and definitely has an obnoxious voice. I won't watch.

Around an hour in: Before Russian sanctions in 2022: 80% of Russian global trade was transacted in USD (50%) and EUR (30%). It is now 35% in rubles, 35% Yuan and 13% USD/EUR. More countries (especially non-G7) are cutting back on both dollar reserves and transacting in USD.

I put it on 2x playback so it took one hour. I believe the highlights can be found a bit all over! But Putin’s confidence during the interview strikes deep when compared to other western leaders

Worth watching, Tucker definitely gets dominated, and Putin is clearly the superior intellect… but I mean the man is sitting in a gangster’s house totally vulnerable so not sure how many people would do that much better. He gets a few decent questions in but wish it was someone smarter than Tuck...

It is a long winded history lesson from Putin’s point of view, whatever that’s worth. He played Tucker like a fiddle.
aerique · 109w
I wonder if Tucker steelmanned his arguments for going there.
