I am concerned about a future where government services, especially Internet connections are only accessible through authenticated chips running authenticated Operating Systems running AI surveillance and reporting.... Even Bluetooth and WiFi connections can be prohibited on such OSes unless to other "whitelisted" devices...
Mesh networks + satellite connection can still work, but only for communities overtly resisting the state.
You won't be able to have a covert privacy any more. And without privacy you won't be able to own Bitcoin.
The rolling of such limitations can happen slowly then suddenly, and it will be justified by national security in the age of Drone warfare... Every IOS user is already opting for such infringement on general purpose computing.
I am struggling to think of a way out of that depressing future. How do you get internet connection to your rare and defiant sovereign computer?
