STRAY is in the wild.
Have you ever been a stray?

Somewhere between who you were and who you're becoming. No longer quite belonging where you started, but not yet knowing where you're going.

Sometimes we get lost because we're searching for something. Other times, we're finally brave enough to stop following the map.

Being lost isn't always something to be rescued from: there's a strange freedom in letting go just enough for life to surprise us. To wander into places we never imagined, and discover parts of ourselves we never knew were waiting to be found. We find each other along that journey.

This year, I adopted @Jingle the Cat 🐈 , a little stray who had perhaps been through more than I have. Learning to trust and understand each other without words has been its own quiet lesson in love.

STRAY is my 9th song released as an independent singer-songwriter, and this one took me on quite a journey.

🎶 With @Haleen - Hans and Kath, whose soulful voices and Hans' minimalist production gave the song the intimacy I'd always imagined.
🎬 With @Fzero - creative director of the music video, bringing another piece of our shared visual world to life through our co-created Ninefold studio ✦
💃 With Lisa Luna - choreographer and dancer, who spent the summer with me exploring movement, vulnerability, and a whole new language of expression. A little documentary of our journey is coming!

No slopcore. No autotune. No beauty cam.
Just voices, movement, imperfections, and everything that makes us feel alive.

A behind-the-scenes documentary exploring the making of STRAY, our summer of dancing, and the creative journey behind the music video is coming soon.

LOVE IS THE CURE ♡
