Ok, I see the note now and know what you are talking about.
1) The refund is completely unrelated, and has to do with a new policy we implemented (1-1 conversion rate and 5% discount for paying in btc) every customer in the last 30 days got a 10% refund. Please claim it!
2) I understand what you are talking about now. Funny thing is, that’s a feature not a bug 😂. Trying to make it convenient to give you access and control to all the media you upload! It’s nip96 and nip 98. No mater what nostr app you use, your media is your media into your acct.
But I totally get what you are saying and had this discussion with our team and will soon implement a way for account holders to upload onto the free service, but it won’t be through the API, it will be a separate website manually.
* If you don’t want to use your acct for some uploads you can also swap your automatic ‘Media Provider’ on your app to another free service. Or use one nostr app for free media uploads with one provider, and another app for your nostr.build account
* Of course you can always manually delete media in your acct to free up space
* You can store quite a bit of smaller images and gifs with 5GB. If it fills up, download as a zip locally and delete?
