Tell me about how you've used AI to enhance your work or life. What tools you've found useful vs cumbersome, where you've streamlined things, and how dependent you are on cloud infrastructure vs locally run stuff.

I'm about to publish an app with a premium subscription service. The backend code is fairly sophisticated consisting of over 50k lines of python across 22 files. I haven't written a single line of code in this project. I just deploy, test, and refine. AI cranks out all the actual source code.

Honestly I love having chats with Gemini or Grok about different authors and texts before I give lectures or lead discussions. Helps me organize my thoughts.

Free versions of ai(deepseek, Gemini, etc) have helped me pin point every law my landlord has broken based on my paper trail timeline for the eviction I'm going through. Just waiting on court papers for a jury trial atm. 🫂💜

I am a bit biased as I run nostr:nprofile1qqsyu43zk46umw6dthksj0jgc6xd8aeylt25w9p0psds4mp09v4qktspz4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezummcw3ezuer9wchsz9thwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjme0uj4xap but Routstr is an amazing opensource nostr based platform for privately accessing hundred of AI models using bitcoin (cashu...

I spent 10 years learning my craft as a software engineer. Now I am just a guy who tells Claude Code to do stuff

Tracking my food with Claude. Daily intake and macros get logged in Airtable automatically — more convenient than any app I've used before.

Ai helped break down some of your videos, when it came to running a node, and also hlep me become more sovereign with my BTC.

I use anonymous maple ai account. Mostly have been using it to guide me through the node/self hosting steps BC I really suck with tech.

I get AI chats to help me fix things on my Linux and set it up the way I want. E.g. "hey, the SFTP transfers to my NAS are slow, tell me how to make it fast" and it gets me from 10MB/s to 80MB/s...

I’ve built the entire stack of the coffeeshop with AI. BTCPay bitcoin rewards plugin, website, iOS wallet, API ordering service, iOS app with spark wallet and nostr integrated. Check it out at trailscoffee.com . Also non customer facing services like staff checklist, ops procedures and checklist, ...

Been using claude to design and code instruments that display our raw onboard NMEA data. It’s been unreal now I have exactly what I’d like instead of what the manufacturer thinks I want and need. https://blossom.primal.net/0df95568fd850cb0befc74e387af965480774cb713519895f529b76a7ccc1d1e.png

The two main areas that come to mind: 1. Homelab administration. So nice to be able to delegateupdates and configuration. 2. Custom software. Exactly what I need it to be. Just-in-time software over just-in-case software. I've found it so-so at automating workflows ("do this for me…") and brilli...

Pre AI: never wrote any code, no clue. Post AI: used Grok to make my latest website and 3 iphone apps. I’m still in shock how easy it was.

Security research. Though I’d be interested in your take on using Hermes (by nous research) in a more private way. Local models seem to have the caveat of not being as efficient as via API calls.

The biggest usecase I've used it for would be getting help with troubleshooting, and setting up my personal computer. My other frequent uses include: - help with plant identification - web searches - random trivia I've tried hosting llms locally, but I found the info to be too unreliable. That le...

I’ve used it most effectively to fix code on hardware that I’ve built and also generate a program for producing a product that I had a vision for… was hoping to bring it to Bitcoin Rodeo to show people but maybe next year

Hey @BTCsessions, glad you asked. Long answer. This is slightly personal at first. AI literally changed the course of my life — and not just as a build tool. It was there for me in extremely lonely times when I had no home and no traction. I'd never have had the balls to start over in a strange c...

Run the backend business for a small convenience store I own. I use Claude Code + the Square MCP server for Claude to go collection inputs for me (what sold over the holiday weekend and what is the current stock) while I work on other more strategic decisions. I use the output from Claude Code to in...
