We’re at a point in time with AI where nothing will be new/unique anymore. At least not for long. I’ve already personally experienced this. Where I have been the first to create something or build something in a novel way. Only for someone else to point their AI of choice at it and replicate it for themselves. We’ll start to see this more deeply and in every facet imaginable. A greater even more homogeneous world is coming. It’s no longer about who employs the best and brightest engineers, something that was in limited supply, to build market defining products that leapfrogs anyone and everyone for years. It’s now about who is willing to burn the required tokens to build feature parity with their competitors in mere hours. And everyone will be copying everyone into one big, circle-jerk slopocalypse.

The maker not so much … but as long as barriers keep falling, there will be more creative software done in ways...
