I am getting close to giving a more detailed assessment on Israel/Hamas, as it drags on.

And it will probably be Nostr-only since other platforms can’t handle it. It is too polarized. Everyone is tunnel-visioned.

My husband is currently in Cairo dealing with some property work we are doing for our extended family. They are only 250 miles from the problem, and Egypt’s acute currency crisis brings it closer to home if military or refugee shit hits the fan. Most of my extended family is geopolitically or financially close to the Israel/Gaza issue and is Muslim. I am thus both close and far from the issue. And I grew up in the US in a diverse region with Jewish and Muslim peers, but more-so Jewish overall.

Suffice to say, I don’t want civilians on either side to suffer or die. I am pro-humanity first and foremost.

Before I give my eventual analysis, I am happy to see Nostr comments on the issue. What are your thoughts and questions on the topic? What would you like to see addressed from a diverse or as non-biased source as possible?

War. War never changes.

As part of your reflections on the topic I would encourage you to honestly answer the likely outcome of two questions: 1, What would happen if tomorrow Israel laid down their weapons and said they would fight no more? 2. What would happen if tomorrow Palestinians laid down their weapons and said th...

I see both sides making convincing arguments why they have claim to the land. Can we verify this? Is one side lying and the other side telling the truth? Looking at the history of the land is one thing but how do we solve the current issue now? Is there a solution where both groups will be content...

It’s important for people to understand the polarity first- where it stems from, how it’s fueled, and who it benefits (on both sides).

The conflict is part of a major plan. Both sides are tools for DeepState. Same old polarizing technique. Divide to conquer. Both sides are puppets. Meanwhile lots of things are happening withou corporate media and independent media if there is such a thing talk about war.

Israel is the only state in the world where Jews can be a majority. They do not have the luxury to "let things unfold" and see what happens. As a consequence, as unfair as it is, demilitarization has to be unilateral on the Arabs' part, and only then should Israel even consider it. In the meantime, ...

I find it such a complex issue. I know my bias as I was raised Jewish. From our point of view, Jews were given land in 1948 for their own state and then immediately attacked by surrounding countries. They defended and took land. Prior to the attack people on the land (Palestinians) were told to le...

It is shocking how many peace loving smart people are being led to be complacent with this genocide. It is also interesting to watch how the new internet media is slowly eroding the old zionist narratives. Many zionists are revealing themselves as racist and bigots towards arabs and muslims. They no...

You might find this interesting too. It reminds me a bit of the military psyop manual (if you are interested, I can share that too) https://twitter.com/Phyl3R/status/1721841416274313425?t=jJc96K_HL_Oh_k_Qm_TsEg&s=19

There is no alternative but eradication of Hamas. My worry is the MIC will be looking at ways to exploit the situation beyond to pursue another forever war

My view and so also what i want to see addressed Israel’s various governments have been good at never explicitly saying they want everything “from the river to the sea” but acting to get it. So overall Palestinians are getting robbed of “their land” At the same time, on a map, even “from...

I was shocked by the barbarity of Hamas‘ initial attacks. However, this feeling was quickly overturned with incredulity about Israel‘s massive military response. Made me think how could they not have seen this coming or if it was willingly taken into account to create a cold-blooded pretext. I...

I'm curious to hear your assessment. My questions would be: 1) What do you make of the conflation of support for Palestinians with support for Hamas, and any criticism of Israel as antisemitism? 2) Whether you agree with Saif's assessment that what Israel is doing now is cynically trying to create a...

Thanks for taking this one on Lyn. It's the ultimate rabbit hole. I suppose what I would like to know about most is how the region existed prior to the establishment of Israel and a bit about the history of zionism as an ideology. It is my understanding that Jews and Musilms lived together in re...

Warfare seems to be the default mode for settling existential human disputes. Perhaps you can reach out to Major Jason Lowery of Softwar to speculate on how Bitcoin and hashpower could reduce the need for physical warfare in the Israeli and Hamas power struggle.
