People are finally getting their Trump phones.

This is somehow even worse than I expected.



The notification emails went out with broken DMARC records and landed in spam.

They fixed the records, but the follow-up authenticated against a third-party domain instead of trumpmobile(.)com and still went to spam.

Find the email anyway. Try to log in. The 2FA code never arrives.

Call customer support. They tell you your account is inactive because you don't have service yet. To access the dashboard and finish buying the phone, you first have to pay $52 for your first month of service.

Then customer support has you create a password by dictating it OVER THE PHONE to the agent.

After logging in, there wasn't even a prompt to change it.

So somewhere out there, a very nice lady named Alexandria still has your account password.

The email marketing opt-in says consent is not a condition of purchase. Leave it unchecked, and the site won't let you complete your order.

And your phone still hasn't shipped.
