I was homeschooled in the 90s. I turned out weird. That’s probably why I ended up here on #nostr.

I was a homeschooling tutor in the 90's back in Cancún for church missionary families. I learned so much those years. I wish I had had the privilege to have done the same for my own kids. I wasn't as lucky. California is too rough on any child's psyche.

Homeschooled our 3 kids in a renovated school building built in1906 by Queen Victoria as a reconciliation school. This was after the English burned the South African countryside to the ground in the 2nd Anglo Boer War. We started as 8 kids, now the community is over 150 kids, 5 cells and growing. ...

Homeschooling is the best! Our children are too important to send off to have someone else train them up.

How do you do it? We did home school firming the lock downs and it was very hard. I would be up for it but that experience of suddenly enforced home school kind of ruined it.

Amem to that. I always say that if I want more friends I can just join a prison gang in prison. Same as school.
